Meet The Head Teacher

Mrs Sue Dawson (Head Teacher)

The governors were delighted to welcome Mrs Sue Dawson to the school in September 2016.

With over 20 years teaching experience in Early Years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 and having enjoyed 20 highly successful years in headships in both Oxfordshire and Shropshire, Mrs Dawson has embraced life at Saighton. She is the driving force behind a number of school initiatives including a new car park, a school dog, forest school and the incorporation of our pre-school under the whole school umbrella.

When not leading the school or with her head in a book, Mrs Dawson enjoys spending time with her family and her beloved Working Cocker Spaniel, Ted.
